Ljubljana – second most car sharing friendly city
In the international competition for the Carshare City Award Ljubljana won the second place in the category up to 750,000 residents. The award is presented by the organisations Carsharing Association and Movmi based on their evaluation of the introduction, maintenance, support and recognition of the significance of car sharing.

Ljubljana is once again in the finals of the European Capital of Smart Tourism competition
On 7 August 2019, the European Commission announced the finalists of the 2020 European Capital of Smart Tourism competition, which also include Ljubljana. After a presentation in Helsinki, on 8 October 2019 the European Jury will select two winning cities and award four others in the accessibility, sustainability, digitalisation, and cultural heritage and creativity categories.
