On 28th November 2016, Mayor Zoran Janković was awarded a prize at the Gala Academy of the Braća Karić Foundation in Belgrade in the field of economy and development of the city.

The prizes of the Braća Karić Foundation were awarded for the 19th year in a row, and aimed to encourage and motivate all those who create and develop values and space for better living conditions. The awards are presented in several fields; culture and art, science and research, journalism, journalism and publishing, economics and economy and humanitarian activities aimed at strengthening peace, cooperation and friendship between nations.

Mayor Zoran Janković attributed the award to his associates and expressed his delight for Ljubljana’s achievements are recognised and appreciated abroad.
