The Ljubljana Urban Region comprises the following municipalities: City of Ljubljana, Municipality of Borovnica, Municipality of Brezovica, Municipality of Dobrepolje, Municipality of Dobrova - Polhov Gradec, Municipality of Dol pri Ljubljani, Municipality of Domžale, Municipality of Grosuplje, Municipality of Horjul, Municipality of Ig, Municipality of Ivančna Gorica, Municipality of Kamnik, Municipality of Komenda, Municipality of Litija, Municipality of Logatec, Municipality of Log – Dragomer, Municipality of Lukovica, Municipality of Medvode, Municipality of Mengeš, Municipality of Moravče, Municipality of Škofljica, Municipality of Šmartno pri Litiji, Municipality of Trzin, Municipality of Velike Lašče, Municipality of Vodice and Municipality of Vrhnika.
The European dimension refers to the advancement of European cultural diversity, intercultural dialogue and mutual understanding among citizens of Europe, to the cultivation of the common aspects of different European cultures, heritages and histories, as well as to European integration and to pressing European topics, inclusion of European artists, collaboration with agents or cities in different European countries, etc.
Community participation refers to the involvement of local communities and the civil society in the development and implementation of the project, the participation of various local groups, particularly youth groups, volunteers, groups of marginalized or disadvantaged persons, including those belonging to minorities, etc.
