A hydrogen-powered bus on a test run in Ljubljana

As part of the European Mobility Week, a hydrogen-powered bus began its test run in Ljubljana. It will run on line 2 until 30 September.

With this, we follow the principle of zero emissions and the goals of the Comprehensive Transport Strategy of the City of Ljubljana and ambitious goals in the field of sustainable mobility.

In cooperation with the company Messer, we installed a mobile charging station to charge the bus during the test period at the headquarters of the public energy company Energetika Ljubljana. During testing, we will monitor various technical parameters of the vehicle's operation and survey the user experience. Based on the findings of the test run of the Caetano HV City Gold bus and the final analyzes and experiences of foreign transport operators already using hydrogen-powered buses, we will continue with activities to include hydrogen technology to the maximum extent possible in the fleet of the public passenger transport company Ljubljanski potniški promet.
