Until 30 September 2024, the Central Atrium of the City Hall will host an exhibition of artistic proposals submitted to the public competition of Artistic Interventions in the Povšetova City Square.

As part of the development of the Povšetova City Square residential neighbourhood, with which we will get 361 new city apartments in Ljubljana, the Public Housing Fund of the City of Ljubljana and the stakeholders of the big city family also planned the placement of cultural content – artistic interventions. To obtain solutions, they organized a public competition in cooperation with the NaNovo Institute, at which an expert committee selected proposals for urban artistic interventions that will remind of the past and enrich the outdoor living areas of the residential neighbourhood with their usefulness. All artistic proposals submitted to the competition are presented at the exhibition.

Authors or co-authors who received one of the three equivalent first awards are:

• Aleksander Vujović and Vuk Ćosić

The selected (awarded) authors will carry out artistic interventions and set them up within the framework of the investment project of constructing the Povšetova City Square residential neighbourhood.
