In the hot summer months you can quench your thirst with fresh drinking water from as many as 35 drinking fountains.

The water in the public fountains comes from the central water system and its quality is monitored by the public water management company JP Vodovod-Kanalizacija (VO-KA), which is also in charge of their regular maintenance.

At different locations in Ljubljana and its vicinity you can go about your business carefree and without buying additional plastic water bottles as you can pour yourself some water at the nearest publicly accessible drinking fountain.
