End of May we concluded the energy renovation of the Jelka kindergarten, carried out within the framework of a public-private partnership between the City of Ljubljana and the consortium consisting of the companies Petrol and Resalta.

The kindergarten renovation was part of the biggest public-private partnership in Slovenia in the area of energy contracting encompassing the renovation of 48 public buildings owned by the City of Ljubljana. Among them are cultural and scientific structures, educational institutions, sports facilities and city administration buildings.

The renovations, which will conclude in 2018, will significantly reduce the use energy products in certain buildings, while the installation of water heat pumps will increase the share of renewable energy sources, consequently reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
