Cycling Yearbook 2014-2015

The cycling yearbook for the years 2014 and 2015 is one of the sustainable measures of the European Mobility Week publishing the most important achievements, projects, statistical data and findings regarding cycling in the City of Ljubljana for the two mentioned years.

The most pleasant and efficient way of getting to know Ljubljana is certainly on a bike as it is flat and compact enough to go on a quick tour all of its most beautiful places by pushing pedals – from landscape parks along renovated embankments to the city centre. Each year Ljubljana is implementing new measures promoting and facilitating bicycle riding to work, to school, for errands and during free time. Consequentially cycling is more pleasant and because of that there are more cyclists.
As continuous monitoring of progress is key for planning further measures for the development of cycling, in 2014, the City of Ljubljana prepared the first cycling yearbook for 2012 and 2013, and now the yearbook for 2014 and 2015 has been published.
