Gymnastics Centre Ljubljana

On 27 November 2015, the Gymnastics Centre Ljubljana opened its doors, providing top athletes with excellent working conditions in its modern gymnastics facilities.

There are two halls at the ground level, one for artistic gymnastics and the other one for rhythmic gymnastics. The centre also includes an aerobics hall, an exercise area for the youngest gymnasts as well as a fitness area and a sauna.

The construction of the Gymnastics Centre was partly financed by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund, the rest of the funds were provided by the City of Ljubljana, Ljubljana Sport and Leisure Facilities and the Sports Foundation. The total value of the investment was roughly 11 million euro.

At the opening, the Ljubljana Sport and Leisure Facilities, the public institution managing the Gymnastics Centre Ljubljana, held an open-doors day enabling the visitors to take a tour of the centre and learn about the recreational activities on offer at Ljubljana Sport and Leisure Facilities.
