From 10 till 21 June 2016, the 8th June in Ljubljana festival is taking place at Congress Square with admission-free superior artistic creations in the field of dance, theatre and music.

In the morning the festival offers events for children, followed by light dance and music performances in the afternoon, and top-level artistic events in the evening. The festival is 11 days long and includes over 30 cultural events, among them 6 thematic days dedicated to ballet, circus theatre, contemporary dance, jazz, children and the youth, and music.
Ljubljana is the proud holder of the title UNESCO City of Literature and in recognition of the title visitors can attend literary readings by Andrej Rozman Roza just before the evening performances.
