Kavalir 4

During the European Mobility Week, Kavalir 4 – closed electrically powered vehicle suited for winter conditions – started driving in the city centre which is open only to pedestrians and cyclists.

‘Kavalir 4’ Minibus Golia is equipped to comfortably seat five passengers. It is adaptable to different seasons in the year and changes in temperature: during summer the windows can be removed and in winter the vehicle has central heating. Kavalir 4 is, like its predecessor Kavalir 3, adjusted for people with special needs, it has a manually operated low entry ramp and sliding doors for easier entry and exit of wheelchairs. As other three Kavalirs the new one can be hailed or called by phone. The priority of calls is determined by the drivers themselves as they can best asses the time needed for a certain trip.
The new technology with lithium iron phosphate batteries makes the new minibus Kavalir even more energy efficient than older generations of electric vehicles. With fully charged batteries it can travel up to 100 km and can transfer 300 to 350 passengers daily.
