The Start:up Slovenia Initiative with Technology Park Ljubljana being one of its members is upgrading the national programmes for activation of talents, accelerated start-up and global growth with the programme "Go:Global Slovenia for Young Business Talents and Start:up Teams".

The "Go:Global Slovenia for Young Business Talents and Start:up Teams" programme is designed to attract foreign innovative, research and business talents into the Slovene environment.

Technology Park Ljubljana, a member of the Start:up Slovenia Initiative, is not a newcomer at attracting foreign business teams into Slovenia because through providing the status of intermediary organisation for implementation of the ERASMUS Programme for Young Entrepreneurs it ensures the interoperability of foreign entrepreneurs with Slovenian and Ljubljana entrepreneurs.

Ljubljana – an Attractive, Innovative and Entrepreneurial Environment

The Technology Park Ljubljana in cooperation with the Public Housing Fund of the Municipality of Ljubljana made another step forward towards building an attractive innovative entrepreneurial environment for foreign young talents and start-up teams who wish to verify their entrepreneurial idea in the Slovene environment.

On the basis of its strategic orientations of establishing an internationally recognised supportive business environment and with regard to the positive experiences of the similar organisations abroad, the Technology Park Ljubljana in cooperation with Public Housing Fund MOL, decided to implement the pilot project – management of a small group of residential units. They will be aimed at foreign talents and start-up teams wishing to operate or establish an entrepreneurial platform in the framework of the Slovenian supportive business environment.

The set of services that the Technology Park Ljubljana in cooperation with the members of the Start:up Slovenia Initiative offers to foreign talents and start-up teams consists of the following:

• use of a workplace with internet access in the Start:up Geek House of the Technology Park Ljubljana,
• counselling and assistance in obtaining a six-month scholarship (up to 720.00 EUR per month) within the framework of the ERASMUS for young Entrepreneurs project,
• cooperation with a chosen successful Slovenian entrepreneur to get assistance in the realization of an entrepreneurial project,
• specialised entrepreneurial consultation in the field of “lean and agile” development of an entrepreneurial idea, which is being taught in the world´s top business schools,
• assistance of the Technology Park Ljubljana team in development of an entrepreneurial idea and examining the Slovenian market,
• cooperation and creating together with the creative people in the »co-working« space,
• joining the entrepreneurs community of Technology park Ljubljana and Initiative Start:up Slovenia.
