Ljubljana tourist card

The Ljubljana Tourist Card has launched a renovated visual appearance and a website.

The City of Ljubljana's public institute Tourism Ljubljana has renovated the visual appearance of the physical card and its webpage at the Visit Ljubljana website in the summer. The alterations were introduced to improve market communication of the important tourist product and enhance the recognisability of the card itself at the first glance, which would contribute to the increase in the sale.
The new communication strategy for the product online will be concluded in the following months with efforts of placing the card advertisement on as many Ljubljana hotels and other partners.

The Ljubljana Tourist Card has been increasing in sales in the past two years. Despite the fact there was a 25 % increase in the card sale from January to August than the same time period last year the Tourism Ljubljana estimates there is room for improvement. The card benefits for Ljubljana visitors are distinctly attractive, and a chance of the rise in sales is estimated very realistic.

During the card validity the visitors to Ljubljana who purchase the card receive entrance to over 15 sightseeing locations (Ljubljana Castle, ZOO, Volčji Potok Arboretum, etc.), free use of the public transport, regular guided tour of the city, unlimited 24-hour access to internet service at the WiFree Ljubljana wireless network, and many more. You can save up to 80 EUR with the Tourist Card Ljubljana with purchasing tickets.

In 2012 in a comparison test of European city cards conducted by the Euro Test website, which is managed by the German Automobile Association (ADAC), the Ljubljana Tourist Card achieved an excellent third place.
