Ten years ago, the idea of a communication platform emerged which would encourage a better, caring and respectful attitude towards the shared environment in Ljubljana, promoting inspiring and positive practices and raising awareness of all the negative aspects of a harmful attitude towards the shared environment. The platform was given a meaningful name – Man.

A man who respects, protects and does not destroy. A man who understands the negative consequences of bad actions and the positive effects of good actions in a shared environment. A man who is aware of the coexistence, contribution and value of other beings and nature, and whose actions do not affect the deterioration but the improvement of the natural environment. A man who sincerely wants to live in an orderly, high-quality, clean and safe city. The mirror to the man in the activities »Man, take care of your city« is held by other personified living beings who share a common space with the man. Animals, trees and even objects speak out, explore meaningful topics, warn and, above all, encourage people to take care of the shared environment.

The exhibition 10 years of the campaign Man, take care of your city has one main goal. Going through a condensed presentation of the campaign activities so far, through many opportunities for reflection and with the help of data that further expands the context, the exhibition tries to achieve that everyone who visits leaves determined that they will simply be a better … man ... for the shared environment.
