Meeting of city of ljubljana scholarship holders and graduates

The new, 15th generation of City of Ljubljana scholarship holders, plus science graduates and masters who were City of Ljubljana scholarship holders, got together on Friday 21 December 2012 at the traditional pre-New Year meeting at Ljubljana City Museum.

On the basis of a public tender for the current school and academic year held for the 15th successive year, the City of Ljubljana has awarded 58 scholarships, for which it has dedicated €131,658.

City of Ljubljana scholarships have been awarded to 16 school pupils, 30 pre-graduate students and 7 post-graduate students in education in Slovenia, as well as two pre-graduate students and three post-graduate students receiving education at renowned universities abroad.

In the last academic year, 25 City of Ljubljana scholarship holders completed their studies. 21 new graduates studied in the fields of meteorology, geography, sculpture, political science, dentistry, graphic design, law, English and Germanic studies, history of art, psychology, medicine, cultural studies, veterinary science, design and architecture. Four masters of science completed their studies in law and finance, international studies, jazz composition and arrangement and business studies.
