Natour Alpe-Adria

From 1 till 4 February 2017, Ljubljana is hosting the Natour Alpe-Adria fair, the main tourism trade show in Slovenia, specialized in green and active tourism.

The fair is designed for people interested in travelling, sports, mountain climbing, hiking, active recreation, running, cycling, adrenaline sports in nature and much more. It is presenting over 330 tourism providers from Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia, Italy, Albania, Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Nepal, India, Jordan and Tunisia.

Ljubljana Tourism is also taking part in the fair presenting the tourism offer in Ljubljana and the Central Slovenia region. The focus is going to be on Plečnik’s heritage as well as on the culinary services and sports activities.
The exhibition space, with its animation, regional promotional materials and award games twice daily, is going to be interesting and attractive. Namely, this year the stands are featuring elements of Plečnik’s architecture – a lamp, a bench and graphics.
The first day of the fair sports activities and events organised this year are going to be presented in the sports division. The emphasis is going to be on the biggest mass sports event in Slovenia – the 22nd Ljubljana Marathon. From Wednesday to Friday a representative of the Regional Development Agency of the Ljubljana Urban Region is presenting the hiking portal Let’s go (Gremo na pot) and the visitors of the fair are going to find out what else the region is offering in the field of active sports activities.
The trade show also presents many good opportunities for the exhibitors to network and is important because local visitors get to know Ljubljana and its region as a comprehensive unit with rich cultural heritage, a green soul and an active heartbeat.
