The award was accepted by Deputy Mayor prof. profJanez Koželj and the Head of the Office for Development Projects and Investments Meta Gabron.
The OHS AWARD was presented in three categories. In the first, Outstanding Creators, awards went to individuals and groups who contributed most to a great spatial design in the last 20 years. In the category Outstanding Projects awards were given to projects with successful cooperation between authors and investors. And in the last category Outstanding Architecture Partners the awards were presented to often overlooked stakeholders who co-create, support or promote outstanding Slovenian architecture.
The Pedenjcarstvo kindergarten was designed and built in line with sustainable principles followed by all projects in Ljubljana. The energy conserving kindergarten made out of wood with an open atrium and a green roof and with its smart solutions falls within the scope of Ljubljana, Smart City, ensuring high quality of life of our citizens while keeping in mind the environment and future generations. The kindergarten is the first in Slovenia to offer a special programme for children with autism within the public kindergarten network.
