A new playground has been set up in the Šmartinska Park. It is equipped with markings for the blind and visually impaired, it has top quality playground equipment, a part of it is adapted to movement-impaired children and it also features the first water park in Slovenia.

Its design includes diverse features of a modern, public city playground: spaciousness, diverse terrain, water, circular and line paths, playground equipment, big climbing nets, various swings, roundabouts, slides as well as the water park with pumps and equipment for playing with water and sand.
Its layout accommodates children of different ages, capabilities and interests, and special attention is given to ensuring accessibility to all.
The equipment selection was based on quality, functionality and natural appearance.
