New Sheltered Housing in Dravlje

On 14 September 2015, in the vicinity of the senior citizens home Šiška 54 sheltered housing units were built under the public-private partnership between the Mijaks group and the City of Ljubljana with the Public Housing Fund.

Out of 54 sheltered housing units 10 apartments and 8 parking spaces are owned by the Municipality of Ljubljana for non-profit lease.

The private investor Mijaks investicije, d.o.o., constructed two buildings with total useful floor area of 4,477.76 m2 with 54 housing units – sheltered housing. 22 are single-room apartments with one bed, 16 two-room apartments with two beds and 16 studios. There are 46 outdoor parking spaces alongside the buildings, and maintenance and management of the whole area is provided for.

On behalf of the City of Ljubljana the Public Housing Fund took ownership of the 10 sheltered housing units in total useful floor area of 493.10 m2 and 8 parking spaces, representing the public part of the project with the corresponding share of common areas.

The value of the investment of the City of Ljubljana (land, building title, public utilities charges) was 1,153,900 €.
