Soon Ljubljana is getting two new sports halls – for sand volleyball in the neighbourhood Črnuče and indoor football in the neighbourhood Štepanjsko naselje.

On Friday, 1 July 2016, Mayor Zoran Janković and the Trigemini d.o.o. company manager Sašo Abrić signed, together with their partners, top football players and members of the Slovenian football team Boštjan Cesar in Bojan Jokić, a public-private partnership contract for the execution of the project »Football Hall in Štepanjsko naselje« between the City of Ljubljana and the Trigemini d.o.o. company.
The subject of the contract is the construction of a new sports hall, design of the surrounding landscape, construction of the parking area, and management and maintenance of the sports hall.
On the occasion, Tomi Šmuc presented the project for the construction of a sports hall for sand volleyball in Črnuče where outside sand volleyball courts are already set up.
Both projects should be completed in approximately one year.

Mayor Zoran Janković expressed his pleasure and pride as Ljubljana is gaining two new important
sports acquisitions intended for the youth, which will give the children and young people even more opportunities to grow up healthy with sports activities in Ljubljana, this years’ European Green Capital.
