New trees planted in Park Tivoli

We planted over 30 new trees in Park Tivoli replacing the trees we had to remove because they were damaged, diseased (infested with a fungus) or were endangering park visitors.

When planting new trees we considered the park design and the guidelines of the Institute of the Republic of Slovenia for Nature Conservation and the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Heritage of Slovenia.
We have planted horse chestnuts, lime trees, Norway maples and red maples, hornbeams, a willow tree, a pagoda tree and Japanese cherries. In addition, we have comprehensively renovated the tree-lined lane with horse chestnuts above the Shepherd monument.
