Novelties in the Ljubljana ZOO

In the Ljubljana Zoo, you will be able to observe 29 alpine ibexes again; among them, there are six offspring. During the visit, you can see many offspring of other species, as well.

Alpine ibexes have been living inside a new fence since a week. They have adapted well and feel good there. The new fence enables observation in two levels – below, there is a view on the ibexes eating hay, and from the top wooden landing the visitors can watch the ibexes climbing rocks.

Beside the ibexes, there are many other offspring in the Ljubljana Zoo, among them a little chimpanzee and a little zebra. Moreover, fallow deer, suricates, alpacas, guanacos and Canadian beavers have babies.
