PONI LUR: the opportunity to develop over 100 new business ideas

The Regional Development Agency of the Ljubljana Urban Region (RRA LUR) has published a tender, within the framework of which it once again invites individuals with innovative and advanced business ideas to apply for the project An entrepreneurial approach to challenges in the Ljubljana Urban Region (PONI LUR).

During the training, the participants will acquire all the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully and efficiently develop their idea and launch a new company. Within the framework of the project, the RRA LUR provides them with a supportive entrepreneurial environment in which they can successfully develop and implement their own business ideas. Participants acquire essential knowledge for developing business ideas

People with a business idea can join the project, regardless of their age or level of education. The condition is that candidates have a registered permanent or temporary place of residence in one of the 25 municipalities of the Ljubljana Urban Region and that they can sign an employment contract for a fixed period of four months before starting. This means that on the day of inclusion, they must hold the status of an unemployed person, student or other.

With the current tender, the first ten participants will get the opportunity to develop their entrepreneurial idea. As stipulated in the tender, the main work obligations and tasks of the selected employees will be aimed at acquiring essential skills that are necessary for the successful development of business ideas. During the program, under the mentorship of various top experts and successful entrepreneurs, they will receive knowledge in the field of entrepreneurship, which they will need as they embark on their independent entrepreneurial path; everything from developing a business idea to creating a business model and plan, marketing and promotional activities, business communication, ICT management, obtaining sources of financing, basic legal and financial knowledge, etc. All necessary physical infrastructure will also be provided in line with the co-working principle.
