On 18 July 2016, Mayor Zoran Janković welcomed the President of the Republic of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili and his delegation at the City Hall.

Mayor Zoran Janković emphasised, among other issues, the good cooperation with the city of Tbilisi, as next year we are celebrating the 40th anniversary of city twinning. On the occasion, the President of the Republic of Georgia signed the Golden Book of Ljubljana and congratulated the Mayor on all the achievements and awards Ljubljana has received in recent years.
