Project Ljubljana-Budapest: Neighbour to Neighbour

The Ljubljana Castle is hosting a fine art exhibition by the members of the Hungarian Academy of Arts till the end of August.

The exhibition representing the current course of modern Hungarian art in its interaction with the cultural trends of its neighbour Slovenia is part of the exchange exhibition project Ljubljana-Budapest 2015. Within the framework of the project the works of members of the Hungarian Academy of Arts are presented at the Ljubljana Castle and works of Slovenian artists in the elite museum Műcsarnok in Budapest.
The project arose from the cooperation between the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts and the Hungarian Academy of Arts (Magyar Művészeti Akadémia), and the Gallery-Museum Lendava.
Both exhibitions are held under the honorary patronage of the President of the Republic of Slovenia Mr. Borut Pahor and the President of Hungary Mr. János Áder.
