Rog Centre again successful in obtaining EU funding in three European Commission tenders
In the framework of the Creative Europe programme of the European Commission, Centre Rog and its partners have successfully secured two multi-year European projects, through which Centre Rog will draw just over 200,000 EUR in European funding, which will make an important contribution to the development of creative practices and support for craftspeople and artisans at the beginning of their careers.
They have also been successful in the European Commission's Culture Moves Europe rolling call for residency hosts, with support for their »Designer in Residency« programme in the total amount of 18,000 EUR, within the framework of which they will host four artists in the fields of textiles, architecture and glass design in their residency apartments from August to November, under the common theme of »What we can learn from our ancestors«. Their work will be on display at the annual overview exhibition at the Rog Centre this November, which will also host an international conference and creathon for young designers.
In total, the Rog Centre has so far received around 220,000 EUR in European funding through this year's European Commission tenders for implementing its programme this year and over the next two years.
