Summer refreshment at Ljubljana's drinking fountains
It feels good to refresh yourself with quality drinking water on hot summer days at many Ljubljana drinking fountains, which are scattered throughout the city.
Natural drinking water is one of the irreplaceable and invaluable assets. We are proud that Ljubljana can boast of technologically untreated drinking water that flows from our taps.
Drinking fountains at every step
Ljubljana has as many as 44 drinking fountains. They can be found in the city centre, on children's playgrounds and at recreational areas – among others on Cankar's Peak (at the Rožnik Inn), at Golovec (at the turnoff for the observatory), in Tivoli, at Koseze Pond, in Mostec and along the popular Path of Memories and Comradeship.
Current information about Ljubljana's drinking fountains, locations and results of water tests can be found on the website of the public company VOKA Snaga or on the mobile application Tap Water Ljubljana, which assists you in finding the nearest drinking fountain with the help of a map, a description and a photo.
Natural drinking water is an irreplaceable and invaluable asset, so we are all the more grateful that Ljubljana is one of the few European capitals that can boast of technologically untreated drinking water that flows from its taps.
