Young athletes from Ljubljana are again participating in the traditional 4 Cities Tournament, which is taking place in Budapest this year. Around 400 athletes aged 16 and under are taking part.

In the competition, held from 4 to 7 July 2024, our athletes will take on their peers from Budapest, Zagreb, Bratislava and Ljubljana. They will compete in basketball, volleyball, football, handball, athletics and table tennis.

The main aim of the tournament is to bring young athletes together and compete at an international level with their peers so that sporting relationships, friendships and new acquaintances allow them to get to know the life and culture of other cities and peer athletes.
