We have painted a special pedestrian crossing on Ig Road in front of the entrance to the University Botanic Gardens Ljubljana to spotlight the biodiversity of our city.

The pedestrian crossing conveys that Ljubljana is a city with remarkable biodiversity. As part of nature, we humans are deeply dependent on biodiversity, so it is crucial that we are aware of its importance. Given the exceptional significance of the University Botanic Gardens Ljubljana in protecting plant and animal species from extinction, we have designed this crossing in front of its entrance.
