The Tourism and Leisure Show set to be held from 21 to 24 January at the Gospodarsko razstavišče Ljubljana exhibition and convention centre.

The Tourism and Leisure Show (Sejem Turizem in prosti čas - TIP) will present tourism offerings of Slovenia, various foreign destinations, and ideas on how to spend quality leisure time.

This year, the various sections of the Show will present the following:

• the photographic project Picture Slovenia,
• photography advice and photographic equipment,
• ideas for interesting and unusual trips,
• tips for holidays outside Slovenia,
• travel agency offerings,
• new cycle routes, unbeaten walking paths, and surfing destinations across the world,
• seaside holidays and water vehicles,
• high quality and fashionable leisure equipment.

The Tourism and Leisure Show exhibition on the photographic project Picture Slovenia (Poslikajmo Slovenijo), which brought together both amateur and professional photographers, will present comprehensive information on the Picture Slovenia photography contest, the website via which contest entries could be submitted, and the award-winning photographs. Aimed at ensuring a better photographic representation of Slovenia on the world wide web, the project has met with great success.
Picture Slovenia is a joint project by Nikon Slovenia, the Slovenian Tourist Organisation, the Gospodarsko razstavišče Ljubljana exhibition and convention centre, Diners Club International, and the Zavod Tovarna enterprise.

Simultaneously with the Tourism and Leisure Show, the Gospodarsko razstavišče Ljubljana exhibition and convention centre will be hosting the Boat Show, a nautical fair specialising in smaller sports boats and pleasure craft, and Conventa (21-22 January), the Southeast European region's biggest meetings and incentive travel show.
