Tourism Ljubljana among the most innovative in the world
Tourism Ljubljana has been included in the list of the most innovative organizations in the field of tourism in 2021, which are successfully tackling the consequences of the COVID-19 epidemic and are looking for new approaches for faster recovery and more environmentally and socially friendly tourism.
The Apolitical portal prepared the list in cooperation with Mastercard and the World Tourism Organization at the United Nations.
In the justification, the expert jury wrote that Tourism Ljubljana creates a highly structured tourist offer that is not only attractive to visitors but also has a positive effect on the quality of life of the citizens of Ljubljana. Areas of operation of Tourism Ljubljana range from creating tourist products, business tourism, marketing and promotion, public relations and producing promotional materials. The jury also highlighted numerous prestigious awards won by the projects of the public institution under the leadership of its director, Petra Stušek, MA.
