Mayor Zoran Janković and his delegation have welcomed Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev on 27 July 2015 at the Ljubljana Castle.

The Prime Minister of Russia visited the Mayor during his official visit to Slovenia, and the esteemed guest signed the Golden Book of Ljubljana upon this occasion. During this meeting, the Mayor presented the Prime Minister the Ljubljana - the European Green Capital 2016 project, and other projects, which bring pride to Ljubljana.
