Again this year, the City of Ljubljana is participating in the Festival for the Third Age, taking place from 30 September to 2 October 2024 in Cankarjev dom. We invite you to visit us and take part in an interesting accompanying program.

Together with public institutes and non-governmental organizations that implement programs for the elderly, the City of Ljubljana is again this year preparing a varied program, within the framework of which we will present the many services and activities we provide for the elderly.
The Festival for the Third Age is held every year to mark 1 October, International Day of Older Persons. Again this year, the three-day festival offers a very rich program, intended not only for the elderly but also for the active population and the youngest – over 130 cultural performances by societies from around Slovenia and abroad, 40 lectures and workshops on the topic of health and active aging, over 10 expert discussions, 13 talks in the Festival Cafe, nostalgic exhibitions and handicraft workshops and a program at over 150 exhibition spaces and corners for health, active age, culture and socializing.
The festival will be open from 30 September to 2 October 2024 from 9:00 to 18:00 (on the last day until 17:00).
