Football fans are invited to watch the European Championship matches on a big screen in Pogačar Square, where a fan zone will be set up during the matches of the Slovenian national team.

From 14 June to 14 July 2024, you can watch all the championship matches and cheer for your favourites. On 16, 20 and 25 June, when the Slovenian national team is playing, you are also invited to the fan zone, where various activities will take place from 13:00 to midnight, and a DJ will also be there to build up the atmosphere.

We will also have stands with food and drinks, focusing on biodegradable packaging, and we will raise awareness among visitors on waste reduction.

In cooperation with the NGO Ecologists Without Borders, Ljubljana Tourism will post a "green guard" at eco-islands during the broadcast of a particular match to remind visitors of proper and better waste separation. The waste will then be weighed by separate fractions and compared to the amount of waste generated during the broadcast of another match, where we expect a similar number of people.

Visitors are reminded that bringing in dangerous items, including bottles and cans, is prohibited. We urge all football fans to show tolerance and respect for each other.
