In Ljubljana, we are eagerly awaiting the final matches of the UEFA European Under-21 Championship, held at the Stožice Stadium.

We have already equipped Stritar Street with used football balls, given to us by Ljubljana’s football clubs, elementary schools and citizens. Pupils of the class 2.c at the Oskar Kovačič Primary School, under the mentorship of their teacher Mojca Oskizek Drinovec and Maja and Alenka from the Smetumet Cultural and Ecological Association, transformed some of the footballs into flower pots. And so, we gave the worn-out footballs a new role and added yet another circular economy good practice in our city.
