On the occasion of World Cat Day, 8 August, we would like to invite you to the Open Day at the Ljubljana Shelter for Abandoned Animals on Saturday, 10 August, between 14:00 and 18:00.

You will be able to meet the cats waiting for their new homes, take part in workshops for children and adults, and learn all about the proper feeding, care and living conditions of our feline life companions. During the afternoon workshops for children and adults, you will have the opportunity to play cat memory games, draw and colour different cat breeds, and learn about the work in the shelter and how wild cats are caught.

You can also visit Pšenica Kovačič, an expert in cat welfare, comfort and behaviour, for a real cat talk!
