Young people are looking for solutions to make life easier for people with disabilities
Students and their mentors from the Secondary School of Civil Engineering, Land Surveying and Environmental Studies Ljubljana presented us with a sticker proving that the City Hall is accessible to all persons with disabilities.
The students awarded us with the sticker at the conclusion of the international project, in which they partnered with secondary schools from five other countries to find solutions to make life easier for people with disabilities.
As part of the exchanges during the duration of the project, in October 2023 the delegations of all the schools also took part in a five-day visit to Ljubljana, which was marked by a meeting with the Mayor Zoran Janković in the City Hall. At the visit, we showed them how the City of Ljubljana plans and implements activities to increase the accessibility of the city for people with disabilities, as well as the solutions and implemented projects that were key to Ljubljana being ranked at the very top of the most accessible European cities today.
