New cultural strategy adopted
At its October session the City Council of the City of Ljubljana has unanimously adopted the Culture Development Strategy in the City of Ljubljana for the period 2020-2023 with guidelines up to 2027.

For the sixth time, Ljubljana has made the Global TOP 100 Sustainable Destinations list, maintaining its position as one of the world’s most sustainable destinations. This year the international jury was impressed by the Culture on the web project, a subpage on the Visit Ljubljana website, which was created during the quarantine period.

Additional commitment to the transition to circular economy
We have joined a group of signatories of the European Circular Cities Declaration. By doing so we have additionally committed ourselves to the transition from linear to circular economy and creating with resources of an efficient, low-carbon and socially responsible society in which the use of resources is separated from the economic growth.
